Dominik Mysterio recently said that WWE doesn’t know what to do with him while discussing his absence from the upcoming Clash In Italy show.
At WWE WrestleMania 42, Dominik faced Finn Balor, which saw Balor pick up the victory. Since then, the rivalry between Balor and Judgment Day has continued. Balor also defeated JD McDonagh in a Street Fight. Despite remaining involved in storylines, Dominik Mysterio has wrestled very little since WrestleMania 42.
Dominik Mysterio addresses WWE Clash In Italy absence
Speaking to Esse Magazine, Dominik addressed not being included on the Clash In Italy card and confidently claimed WWE does not know how to use him. He said, “I don’t think they know what to do with me. I’m too cool.”
He confidently said that WWE is wasting a major opportunity. “They have lightning in a bottle, and they have no idea what to do with it, so they’re just letting it sit. I’m like you, I’m just waiting ” He also claimed he could easily fit into multiple WWE storylines right now. “I could have all the storylines, but like I said, they don’t know what to do with me. I’m too good. Lightning in a bottle. They’re holding me.”
He then listed several major names he has already defeated during his WWE career. “I don’t know. I’ve beaten John Cena. I’ve beaten AJ Styles. Beaten Rey Mysterio. Beaten Damian Priest. I don’t know what they’re waiting for. I’m 29 years old. Kid’s young.”
“You’ve got all these old fossils in there working. I don’t know what they’re waiting for. “At the end of the day, I’m a patient man. I can wait. I’ve got The Judgment Day with me. AAA Mega Campeón. I’m not tripping. If they want to put me on Clash In Italy, I’ll put my Mega Campeonato on the line. It don’t even matter.” [H/T: Fightful]
Since WWE WrestleMania 42, Dominik Mysterio has also wrestle once. His last match took place on May 11 episode of WWE Raw against El Grande Americano.
