Shotzi Teases Music Project With Scarlett Bordeaux and AEW’s Harley Cameron

Shotzi hasn’t started her band (yet), but she might be able to find some time to collaborate with two close friends.

Last year, Shotzi said she was thinking about starting a punk rock band. The “Ballsy Badass” hasn’t been able to make that happen because of her busy schedule, but she does believe a different musical collaboration is closer to reality.

During a new interview with WrestleZone’s Ella Jay, Shotzi teased a new project with former WWE star and her current MLW roster mate, Scarlett Bourdeaux, and AEW star Harley Cameron. The trio has recorded music together in the past, including a cover of “I Put A Spell On You” from the Hocus Pocus soundtrack. Cameron previously teased new music during an interview with 107.7 The Bone’s Baby Huey, and Shotzi hints that they might be closer to a reunion.

“Oh my God, no [my band isn’t any closer]. My schedule has just been so insane,” she explained. “Me, Scarlett and Harley Cameron, we make music sometimes. We’ve been talking about coming out with an album now that we’re all just doing our own thing. Before it was a little hard because [Harley] was AEW and we were WWE. They kind of didn’t want us to work together too much just because of the competition.

“But now that Scarlett and me are independent, we might be working together some more,” she continued. “I know that we’re getting dinner on Monday, so we might discuss some new music and try to get that going. But we just need to find time because Harley is insanely busy. Then Scarlett is too. So yeah, it’s just hard. Three busy girls trying to get together.”

While she might be a talented singer, Shotzi admitted that she only wishes she could play an instrument. She noted that her husband is an accomplished guitarist, but she has another instrument in mind, and a certain muse that has been known to cause some (electric) mayhem.

“I’ve always thought a saxophone was really hot, but I feel like my soul is a drummer just because my energy is so crazy. I feel like I’m like Animal from the Muppets. I would just be [jamming out]. That’s me.”
