Brock Lesnar Gets Restraining Order Against Oba Femi on WWE RAW

Paul Heyman took things to another level on the July 13 episode of WWE RAW, using the legal system as his latest move in Brock Lesnar’s rivalry with Oba Femi. The opening segment of the night featured police officers, restraining orders, and a wild brawl.

With SummerSlam getting closer, WWE continued building the rivalry between Lesnar and Femi ahead of their Hell in a Cell match. Instead of another early fight, Heyman tried a different approach to keep Lesnar away from Femi.

Paul Heyman reveals a restraining order on RAW

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman opened RAW surrounded by several local police officers. Heyman said the officers were there to protect him and Lesnar from Oba Femi, calling Femi an “obsessive stalker.”

He questioned why Femi gave up his guaranteed world title match at SummerSlam just to fight Lesnar again. Heyman believes that showed how obsessed Femi had become with The Beast. At the same time, Heyman admitted Lesnar couldn’t wait to face Femi inside Hell in a Cell. He promised that their next match would finally settle the rivalry.

To stop another fight before SummerSlam, Heyman announced that he had secured a restraining order against Oba Femi. He also revealed that Lesnar had one against Femi as well.

Heyman proudly said, “This Beast is a law-abiding citizen,” while Lesnar, although clearly annoyed, went along with the plan.

However, the plan didn’t last long. Oba Femi walked straight to the ring to confront Heyman and Lesnar. Heyman told him he was breaking the court order, and the police officers moved in to arrest him.

That didn’t work.

Femi easily took out every officer. Later, he grabbed a microphone and mocked Lesnar for avoiding him, saying The Beast used to “run the place,” but now all he does is “run away.” Femi also explained why he turned down his guaranteed world title match at SummerSlam. He said Lesnar would have found a way to ruin that opportunity anyway.

For Femi, finishing his rivalry with Lesnar means more than winning a championship.
