Ted DiBiase comes out and says it doesn’t thrill him to say it, but his career is over. Ted says his is just starting, and Lawler doesn’t need anymore opportunities, so he should give him his spot in tonight’s RAW Rumble. Cole gets up and tells him he will handle it, and starts calling Lawler selfish and a scene stealer and that is why he won’t give up the spot. Lawler says he won’t give up his spot because he never got to compete at Wrestlemania, and he has been there for 18 years. He says he road starts tonight, and might even be Champion now if it wasn’t for Cole. He knows he can beat Miz and he is going to win his match tonight.
Ted shoves him and runs away, and Lawler gets up and runs after him, but Ted holds Maryse in front of him. Ted laughs at Lawler but Maryse gets pissed for being put in danger, and turns around and slaps him. She leaves and Lawler punches Ted in the face to knock him down, and goes back to the announcer’s table where Cole starts yelling at him. Lawler threatens to punch him too, but Cole reminds him that he can’t touch him, and says he better worry about his match.
Daniel Bryan vs Tyson Kidd
Bryan fights out of an armlock and hits a hiptoss, then gets hits with one by Kidd and hit with a shoulderblock. Bryan fights back and rapidly kicks Kidd until he crawls under the ropes. Kidd tries to come back and tries a leghold, but Bryan reverses into the LeBell Lock and makes Kidd tap.
The Bella Twins get into the ring after the bell rings and they sarcastically clap for Bryan and Gail, then a catfight ensues. Bryan and a few refs try to pull them apart as they continue fighting into a commercial break.
