Ross Report: S.Series, Cena/Nexus, Orton, NXT, Cole

The following is an excerpt from the latest “Ross Report” by WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross:

Random ramblings, opinion and other nonsense …

It’s hard to believe that WWE Survivor Series is almost upon us. I used to love all the unique teams that were assembled during the November tradition. Granted, some of their team names might have been considered somewhat ‘campy’ but those were interesting times without question.

Can anyone out there remember what my first broadcast assignment at a Survivor Series was? Start your search engines.

John Cena is either going to leave Miami, site of the Survivor Series 2010, as reviled, respected, or renowned for his ‘surviving’ an extremely challenging dilemma that Wade Barrett and Nexus has placed on the leader of the CeNation.

When, notice I did not say if, when Barrett becomes WWE Champion he might be in line for an endorsement deal for hair gel or even old school Brylcream … a little dab will do ya. Does any one remember that ‘hair glue?’

Master Randal Orton, WWE Champion for the time being, isn’t going to have a great November – or so it seems to be shaping up. One would assume that WWE would intervene and put the kibosh on this ‘farce’ perpetrated by the ridiculous, anonymous Raw General Manager and, ‘I quote,’ ridiculous.

I missed NXT live Tuesday night, I was busy cleaning the dead skin off the heels of my feet, but did any one get cake in their face? How can there be a WWE wedding without some sort of food fight? I was somewhat amazed to see WWE HOF’ers Dusty Rhodes and Ted DiBiase in attendance at the proposed nuptials. Little known fact, the “Dream” is a closet cake-o-holic. The man loves icing … on the cake.

Do Cole and Mathews actually get paid in American dollars for their work on NXT? BTW did you follow Joey Styles on Twitter during the NXT broadcast? Restaurant quality humor that was just a little ‘extreme’… OMG!!
