Miz comes out and says he never tapped out and Daniel Bryan didn’t beat him. He says he had a tender MCL, and he was injured and fought against doctor’s orders. He says he was saving himself from having surgery, and he will get his US Championship back, because he’s the Miz and he… did not tap out!
Edge vs Daniel Bryan
Edge pounds Bryan in the corner and chokes him on the ropes and brings him outside to throw him into the barricade. Edge brings him back in the ring and hits the Edge-O-Matic for a two count, then runs into a forearm by Bryan. Bryan goes on offense then sidesteps a spear attempt and puts him in the LeBell Lock. Alex Riley runs down the ramp to create a distraction, and Miz attacks Bryan, and he turns right around into a spear by Edge, who makes the pin to take the match.
Winner – Edge
After the match a GM email says the Miz’s interference is reason for the match result to be overturned, and the winner is Daniel Bryan. Edge flips out and says he is sick of this, and this is his career, then leaves as Riley and Miz attack Bryan again. Miz kicks Bryan in the face and punches him in the stomach while Riley holds him up. Miz slaps him in the face a couple of times and screams that Bryan is nothing, then kicks him in the face again.
He doesn’t stop here and paintbrushes Bryan and screams that he isn’t a champion, and rakes Bryan’s eyes. Miz pulls him away from Riley and hits the Skull Crushing Finale then slowly leaves the ring and picks up his jacket. He puts it back on and leaves as the fans chant ‘you tapped out’ at him, and he sarcastically claps on the ramp and says this is your champion before leaving.
