WWE Raw Results – March 1st, 2010

Batista stops at the top of the entrance way.  Cena asks if he’s seeing things.  Batista is now rolling with security?  Batista says that they aren’t here to protect him.  They’re here to protect Cena.  Batista tells Cena to feel free to thank him at anytime.  Cena calls him to the ring so he can thank him in the ring…or he can stand up there like a 300lb panzy.  Batista mocks Cena and then tells him that he did what he did last week because he wants to face Cena at Mania.  Batista continues by saying that the two of them did start out in the WWE together and that their rise to the top were practically identical.  However, he’s proud to say that that the two of them couldn’t be more different.  Batista can’t understand why this company has decided to name him as the face of the WWE.  Championships, commercials, magazine covers, movies…Batista says that somehow the torch was passed from Stone Cold Steve Austin to Cena when he should have been him.  He says he’s the biggest stat in the WWE.

A loud "Cena’ chant breaks out again.  Batista continues finally by saying that he did what he did last week for two reasons.  One, so he can beat the hell out of Cena at WrestleMania and prove he’s better.  The second reason is simple:  he just can’t stand Cena.  Cena responds by saying that Batista better focus and quit worrying about some "torch" no one has ever seen because he wants to be Champion again and he’s going to beat him at Mania.  Cena says that Dave is all about himself.  He’s selfish, he always has been and he always will be.  Batista agrees.  He’s there to make money and to win titles.  He doesn’t care about the fans.  He’s not in the WWE for them.  He tells Cena to keep kissing babies and hugging fat girls while he’s in the gym training to beat him at Mania.  He reminds Cena about the last time they were in the ring together and he broke Cena’s neck.

Cena gets worked up and Batista says it doesn’t matter what Cena thinks.  That’s all he does is bark, bark, bark.  Batista then taunts Cena to talk and say one of his catch phrases.  He says the whole world wants to hear what John Cena has to say.  He then tells Cena that he can’t beat him and deep down, Cena knows it.  Batista drops his mic and heads to the back as Cena stays silent and stares him down.  A very good segment, in my opinion, where both came off looking strong.
