Several readers have sent in word that at last night’s Smackdown taping, John Morrison appeared to be legitimately injured during his match against R-Truth. The referee stopped the match at about a minute into the bout, however one reader did say that he never saw the ref flash the "x" sign, which is usually an indication that a wrestler has suffered a legit injury. The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Morrison is believed do have suffered a sprained ankle, however it has not been reported how severe the injury is, or if it will keep him out of the Elimination Chamber match at the PPV in 2 weeks.
