The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the 12/21 and the 12/28 WWE Raw shows will probably not feature much in terms of story line build for The Royal Rumble. Instead, WWE will most likely hold off on shooting major angles for the PPV until the January 4th Raw show, which of course is going head-to-head with TNA. The feeling is that by shooting those angles on the 4th and the following week on the 11th, WWE might be able to counter some of the momentum that TNA might build stemming from their live Impact broadcast.
