WWE Raw Results – November 9th, 2009

Before the match, it looks like we’re having a VIP Lounge.  Mark Henry asks MVP if it’s okay if he introduces the guest.  He introduces Kofi Kingston and Kingston makes his way out to the ring.  MVP thanks Kofi for having them on the Survivor Series team.  Kofi says that he needs them on his team.  MVP then says Kofi made a statement when he trashed Orton’s car.  They show a replay of last week when the three of them beat Orton, DiBiase, and Rhodes in the six man tag.  Kofi says that’s only a taste of what they have in store for Orton’s team at the pay per view.  MVP says he wants to propose a toast to Kofi Kingston.  They bring some wine and before they can drink, Orton and Legacy cut them off and make their way down to the ring.

They come in and the "security guard" watching the VIP lounge, I guess, hesitates before he lets them pass so they can get in the ring.  Orton says that the three of them act like they’re sitting on top of the world or something.  He says the truth is that they are nothing but low life street thugs.  He said Henry stole a victory last week and MVP is the definition of a common criminal.  And he says Kofi Kingston should be in jail for what he did to Orton’s car two weeks ago.  He says the only reason he didn’t do anything is because he wants to handle it at Survivor Series.  Rhodes and DiBiase say that MVP is VIP.  Orton says the only place they belong is the hood where they came from.  Kofi slaps him and gets in his face.  Orton holds back Legacy and we cut to a commercial

Randy Orton vs Mark Henry

The match is underway when we come back from break and MVP, Kofi, and Legacy are all standing on the outside of the ring.  Henry has the advantage, but Orton starts attacking his leg to bring him down.  He then delivers some punches in the corner until Henry gets him in a bear hug and follows with a clothesline.  Pin and a two count.  Henry then misses an elbow drop and Orton takes over with stomps.  He delivers a knee drop and goes for a pin, but Henry kicks out.  Orton applies a head lock and then goes for another cover, but Henry kicks out at two again.

Orton hits multiple knee drops and then scrapes his foot down Henry’s face.  Orton continues his attack by applying a sleeper in the middle of the ring.  Henry makes it to his feet and punches his way out of the sleeper, following up with a scoop slam.  He pins Orton, but another two count.  They trade a couple of punches until Henry lands a clothesline.  Henry backs Orton into a corner and hits multiple head butts until Orton finally drops to the mat.  Irish whip by Henry, but Orton tries to counter with a sunset flip, but he can’t drag Henry down for the pin.  Henry picks him up and Orton hits an RKO out of nowhere.  Three count and the win.

WINNER: Randy Orton

After The Match: Kofi comes in the ring to assit Henry, but he’s slapped by Orton.  He immediately retaliates with a punch and Orton rolls out of the ring and heads to the back as the two argue at one another.
