DOWN A STEP: MVP

This guy just can’t seem to catch a break.
His tag team with Mark Henry doesn’t seem to be going anywhere and rather than putting him on Team Raw, they make him a pretty damn easy stepping stone for Jack Swagger to instead make the team. I understand they are pushing Swagger more than MVP right now (whether that’s right or wrong is subjective), but their match was practically a squash with MVP getting very little offense.
Now personally, I don’t believe MVP is a future John Cena at the top of the card on a permanent basis, but I definitely believe he could main event occasionally and without a doubt do better than what he’s doing now.
