Recap: Kurt Angle Spills His Guts On Bubba The Love Sponge

Kurt AngleThe following is an excerpt from a recap of Kurt Angle on Bubba The Love Sponge’s FM radio show earlier today. The recap is courtesy of F4WOnline.com:

He said she (they NEVER mentioned Rhaka by name) moved in and then changed her mailing address to his house to establish residency.

He said she wanted an engagement ring.

He said she tried to extort “lots of money” (Bubba said 50-thousand, but Angle didn’t say anything about an amount) and threatened to ruin his life and career.

He said he was afraid of her (didn’t specify in what way he was afraid of her—physically or otherwise).

He said he didn’t talk to her even while they were living together. He says they never fought, he only kept asking her when she was leaving.

He said she was always on the computer, and would hide what she was looking at when he’d go by the room. Bubba said she was probably looking at how she could legally carry this out, Angle didn’t say anything.

He said that in the protection order, she claimed he yelled at her and said something similar to what another celebrity / wrestler (he was trying to be careful with not identifying this person, so he first said wrestler, then celebrity) said about his ex-wife. Bubba asked him if it was what Hogan said to Rolling Stone about ‘understanding why O.J. could do what he did,’ and Angle said he couldn’t answer that.

He said about a week before this past weekend, while she was out of town, he talked to police about what he could do to get her out of the house and was told there was very little he could do.

He said, on Friday night, she wanted to talk, he said he wanted to go to bed. She asked him at 1130 or so that night to borrow his car to go to the store, he allowed her to. He thinks at that time she went to the police and got the order.

Then, Saturday morning, at 630 am, four police cars (including the officer he talked to the week before) came to his house, told him about the order, and told him to leave.

He says he left around 715, and video surveillance from his gated community shows her following his car out.

He says he went to go check in at a hotel which was in a different law enforcement jurisdiction, and circled the hotel parking lot (not the Starbucks’ lot) while talking on his phone to TNA officials, his attorney and agent about what had happened. He says he then pulled into the Starbucks, which was close to the hotel. It was at that time (about 730) that police (from the different jurisdiction than the one his home is in) arrested him. He says the officers didn’t believe him when he said he had just left his house.

He says the HGH they found was “buried deep” in an “old bag” he had grabbed and was two 2 year old vials that he didn’t know were in there. He says they were prescribed for the neck injury and he could be tested right now and he’d test clean.

He says the DUI from last year was never expunged from his record, so he has three separate court hearings (getting the DUI expunged, the violation of the protection order, and the HGH possession).

He says his lawyer will be in court today to try to get Angle back in his house.

He called the whole thing an embarrassment to himself, his family and TNA.

He says she got him “when things were going good,” citing his fourth movie and the recent magazine cover he did.

He says he didn’t talk publicly on this before because his attorney was on vacation and he thinks TNA wanted to “keep it under the rug” since he and she both work there. He thinks he probably wouldn’t have even gotten TNA’s permission to do the interview with Bubba. He also said he’d probably hire a publicist once this all clears up.
