Backstage: Chris Jericho, Kane, The Great Khali

Backstage we see Chris Jericho and Kane talking to The Great Khali seperately.

Match #5:

-Charlie Haas vs. R-Truth

Haas’ music hits and out he comes. R-Truth’s music hits and he’ll be his opponent in this one-on-one match. Very good match with a lot of athletic moves. R-Truth gets the pin for the victory.

Winner: R-Truth

Match #6:

-CM Punk (c) vs. Rey Mysterio

It’s time for our main event, which features World champion CM Punk against crowd favorite Rey Mysterio. The finish came when Dolph Ziggler interfered and attacked Mysterio, allowing Mysterio to get the win via disqualification.

Winner via DQ: Rey Mysterio

After The Match:

After the match Ziggler continued his attack on Mysterio until Jeff Hardy hit the ring to make the save. CM Punk got back into the mix, hitting Hardy with the Go To Sleep (GTS). And that’s how SmackDown! goes off the air this week.

Dark Match Main Event:

(Steel Cage Match)

-CM Punk (c) vs. Jeff Hardy

This is a steel cage match. It is for the World title but is a dark match main-event that will not air on this week’s SmackDown! broadcast. After a very solid cage match from Punk and Hardy, CM Punk walked out the victor to retain his World Heavyweight championship.

Winner: CM Punk
