The first poster for Renny Harlinâ<80><99>s 12 Pounds is now online, courtesy of IMP Awards. The WWE Films production stars John Cena as Detective Danny Baxter, who discovers his girlfriend has been kidnapped by a ex-con tied to Baxterâ<80><99>s past, and heâ<80><99>ll have to successfully complete 12 challenges in order to secure her safe release.
Ashley Scott, Brian J. White, Taylor Cole, Aidan Gillen and Steve Harris also star and the movie is due in theaters on March 27, 2009. Past WWE films include The Rundown, The Marine, See No Evil and The Condemned.
