Alex Koslov Comments On Leaving CMLL for AAA

Alex Koslov leaves CMLL indefinitely to work for Triple A.

The rumors were true. I have decided to leave CMLL for AAA. There were many reasons for my decision. One of them was that I felt limited in CMLL. I was over with the fans everywhere I went and yet I couldn’t get over a certain level to become an even bigger star than I was. I understand CMLL has a big roster and maybe the time would have come for me there. But I’ve been doing this for 2 years now and frankly, I got bored. I Lost my passion for it. Doing the same thing everyday was getting really old. I had thoughts of coming back to the states everyday. I was just trying to find a way out. I never expressed this to my working partners though and put in 100% into my work regardless but at the end of the day I was dying mentally out here. Then came an opportunity from AAA that I never even thought I would consider and when the negotiations got serious, this was becoming a reality. This was my way out, it found me. The ideas that I was presented with from AAA sold me on going. This was the hardest decision I had to make in my career. I didn’t leave on the best of terms. I took a big chance in exchange for a very high probability that I will never be able to work in CMLL again. It was difficult for me to do this as it violeted my moral beliefs. That’s why in my debut in AAA 2 days ago, infront of a live crowd, for a tv taping, I cut a promo, in it expressing that I am thankful for everything Mr. Paco Alonso has done for me and being sorry obviously for the way it had to go down. Although I believe my apologies and appreciation won’t mean anything or get through to the boss the way I meant them, I had to express these things to be true to my self and my beliefs. I guess it served as a kind of closure for me in terms of how things happened and the guilt that I felt and still feel. But I am happy with my decision and happy with the change as AAA is a whole different ball game. This experience is very surreal and full of excitement and with a lot of edginess to it. Most wrestlers in this business won’t ever have the opportunity to be a part of this kind of history. I am excited for the possibilites and am looking forward to my future in the wrestling business. I just want to thank my family, all of my fans, and friends in and out of the wrestling business that are supporting me throughout this whole experience. Thanks!

Alex
