Feature: Steve Anderson’s Random Thoughts for the Week

Random thoughts to start the week, but first, a songâ<80>¦

Freddie, don’t be discouraged,

McMahon, he ain’t so hard to understand.

Freddie, if you try now,

I know that you can lend a helping hand.

And I know, things will be better

Oh yes they will for Freddie and McMahon.

Yes they will for Freddie and McMahon.

Thatâ<80><99>s right, WWEâ<80><99>s latest big name creative team acquisition is none other than Freddie Prinze, Jr. Star of â<80><9c>Scooby Doo 1 and 2â<80> andâ<80>¦andâ<80>¦andâ<80>¦well, anyway…

Interesting career move, but nice to see a fairly famous Hollywood celeb back up his fandom with a dramatic job change to the biz. Will he last? Stay tuned. I know you didnâ<80><99>t for â<80><9c>Freddie,â<80> the sitcom.

Whatâ<80><99>s in the bag? Thatâ<80><99>s the question that dogs Kane. God, I hope itâ<80><99>s not the old Kane mask. I questioned whether he could survive without the mask. Lo and behold, he has reshaped his character and it works. Why go back? Havenâ<80><99>t we learned anything from â<80><9c>Fake Kane?â<80>

Besides, he needs the hair. Bald guy in a mask? Trust me, as a guy who shaves his head, a mask of that fashion just doesnâ<80><99>t work. At least thatâ<80><99>s what my dominatrix tells me.

One word for Brooke Hogan. Sssshhhhhhhhhh. The more she opens her yap, the more I want her to start singing again. And that is not a good thing.

With the birth of the new Helmsley-McMahon baby, it made me think. Has there ever been a McMahon wedding where they didnâ<80><99>t say, â<80><9c>With thisâ<80>¦VERYâ<80>¦RING…I thee wed.â<80>

Breaking news! Matthew â<80><9c>Shaggyâ<80> Lillard has joined the creative team of TNA. Zoiks!

Your new ECW play-by-play man is none other than Todd Grisham. I hate it when they want me to want Mike Adamle back.

Mark Henry. Still donâ<80><99>t get it.

Oh, Kevin Nash. Such a hothead. That happens when you get older. Yes, it doesnâ<80><99>t make sense to be eliminated in a gauntlet match during a commercial break. I agree. But you in the TNA main event picture is even more perplexing. My question is when he walked out of the building in a huff, did he tear his quad again?

The all- new, all-serious Chris Jericho. I like it. His promos have been classic face to heel soliloquies. He blames the fans. He looks back on his â<80><9c>devil-may-careâ<80> approach as a bad thing. Thatâ<80><99>s what a heel should do. Change their look. Change their attitude. A turn should be more than associating with a villainous wrestler or manager. Plus, it gives him an â<80><9c>outâ<80> to go back to that carefree approach as a face.

Just donâ<80><99>t start carrying a bag around in a few years with the busted â<80><9c>Jericho-tronâ<80>

Sarah Michelle Gellar in ROH? Stay tunedâ<80>¦
