Contrary to previous reports, prowrestling.net says that Jake “The Snake” Roberts will NOT be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Roberts has been telling people he is attending the ceremony and was recently booked for an indy show in Orlando the afternoon of the ceremony, adding to the speculation.
For those wondering why Finlay debuted new theme music last week, only for it to return to his original theme on last nightâ<80><99>s edition of Raw, there is a story by The Boston Herald that might explain why. According to the publication, WWEâ<80><99>s music coordinator contacted the Irish/folk punk band, Swaggerinâ<80><99> Growlers, through MySpace about recording a track to be used as Finlayâ<80><99>s theme music. The Swaggerinâ<80><99> Growlers went into the studio for a 13 hour recording session to get the track down, as singer and acoustic guitar player Jonny Swagger said, â<80><9c>I think it was the 11th hour and a nine-ounce flask of whiskey later, and we had a vocal track. I did some of my finest growling.â<80>
Newsday has picked up on WWEâ<80><99>s announcement that Jeff Hardy has been suspended for 60 days for violating the companyâ<80><99>s Wellness Policy.
