Benoit Update: Toxicology Report, Vince A Murderer?


“Vince McMahon has gotten away with murder, figuratively and literally,â<80> said Konnan on tonightâ<80><99>s â<80>~Nancy Grace.â<80><99> On the program, Konnan talked about the ten wrestlers that have passed away since Johnny Grudgeâ<80><99>s death last year, and said nothing has been done about these deaths. Konnan said if ten media reporters dropped dead in the same time period, there would be full investigation launched. Konnan talked about wrestlers being exploited, and even having to pay for their own travel expenses when they are on the road.

Tonightâ<80><99>s â<80>~Nancy Graceâ<80><99> on CNN Headline News has focused much of its discussion on Dr. Phil Astin being investigated for his possible involvement in the death of Johnny Grudge (Mike Durham). It was noted earlier in the program, that toxicology reports in the Benoit case are due sometime this week.

When asked if wrestlers should form a union, Bret Hart said definitely. Hart said the janitor sweeping up at WWEâ<80><99>s offices probably has more benefits than most of the wrestlers. Hart said a lot of wrestlers are finishing up the career broke and depressed. â<80><9c>There are far too many wrestlers killing themselves,â<80> Hart said. Hart said he doesnâ<80><99>t know why the wrestlers donâ<80><99>t have a union, and they are just like a circus animals without benefits.

Jerry McDevitt was asked if Vince McMahon would be upset with a union forming, and he said he couldnâ<80><99>t speak for Vince, but said sports unions havenâ<80><99>t helped in dealing with performance enhancement drugs, but Larry King piped up and said, no, but they do far better in baseball as they have the best union in sports. You could also hear Bret Hart ask what about dental benefits for the wrestlers?
