WWE.com is reporting that Smackdown diva, Michelle McCool was hospitalized over the Thanksgiving holiday and remains in the hospital for â<80><9c>an enlarged kidney and an electrolyte imbalanceâ<80>. Apparently McCool went to the hospital because of general sickness and acute back pain a move that may have saved her life.
The hospital ran several tests including an ultrasound to discover her illness and according to WWEâ<80><99>s doctor, Dr. Ferdinand Rios, if the condition had been left un diagnosed she could have had heart or kidney failure.
In the article their doctor said â<80><9c>Her condition was complicated by an electrolyte imbalance; sometimes those cannot be corrected immediately, and due to lack of sodium [in her body] she needed a lot of intravenous fluids. Michelle most likely suffered a fractured sternum from one of her matches where she may have been kicked in the chest. Sheâ<80><99>s getting better and is getting stronger, and at this time is free from infection, When I spoke to her she was in good spirits.â<80>
