More On WWE Releases, WWE.com Interviews Morgan On Firing

All WWE released talent will have a 90 day no compete clause which prevents them from working for other wrestling promotions through early October. Dawn Marie got the same 90 day clause as everyone else despite being pregnant.

Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley were released because they couldn’t come to terms on their contracts. They were not originally scheduled to be a part of the ‘budget cuts’. They will be free to work wherever as soon as their deals expire.

WWE.com has added an interview with released star Matt Morgan. Morgan told the site, “”It was kind of shocked,” in regard to being released. “I thought I was doing everything they asked of me. I’m still so new to the sport and I have such an upside. I’m still going to get to where I have to go, I’m just going to have to take a different avenue.” To read it, visit WWE.com.
