Final TNA Impact Rating is in; Was it Record Breaking?

F4WOnline is reporting that TNA Impact Wrestling drew a final rating of 1.35 with 2.2 million viewers for this week's show that featured the return of Gail Kim and James Storm winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from Kurt Angle. Despite Dixie Carter stating on Twitter that this was "the most watched episode ever," last year's Bound for Glory follow-up drew a 1.4, before immediately falling back to a 1.16 the next week.

To put their rating in perspective, Impact Wrestling runs in SpikeTV's Thursday night time slot, going head-to-head with weekly comedies such as the Big Bang Theory, Community, and the Office, all of whom draw from the same television demographic as TNA's target audience.
