WWE Title: Alberto Del Rio vs. John Cena (Last Man Standing)
Del Rio's announcer jumped-on and attacked Cena early on, which allowed Del Rio himself to gain an early advantage in the offense. Cena started making a comeback a few minutes later and worked Del Rio over with some big punches. Del Rio turns the tide and hits a series of suplexes on Cena. This prompts the first count on Cena, under Last Man Standing rules, of course. Cena gets up and immediately hits a clothesline. Cena hits a series of his usual moves on Del Rio but Del Rio slows him down with a German suplex. Cena hits a gutwrench suplex in response for a count of four. Del Rio places Cena under one of the fallen ring posts from the previous match and hits a double-stomp on the post, slamming it into Cena's body. Cena makes it up by an eight count and eventually hits an Attitude Adjustment on Del Rio. Del Rio locks in a rear-naked choke on Cena and squeezed for all he's worth. Del Rio waited until Cena was clearly unconscious before letting go. Of course, Cena makes it back by seven. You can't stop him, folks! Del Rio ends up beating up Cena with the ringside steps after a long setup. Both guys fight to the backstage area. Both guys beat each other up with random objects from the locker room area for near-10 counts on each side. Ricardo ends up getting involved again as they fight back into the arena. Del Rio puts Cena through the giant "V" on the stage-set for "Vengeance." Cena ends up putting Del Rio through a table. Back at ringside, Cena ends up putting Del Rio through the Spanish announce table. Miz and R-Truth end up coming out and jump all over Cena. Miz hits Cena with a Lie Detector. Del Rio nails Cena with the WWE Championship belt. Cena could not make it back to his feet after all the interferance and objects used. Del Rio retains his title.
