Billy Corgan Speaks On His Plans For New Wrestling Company

The following are highlights from an interview with Billy Corgan, the lead singer of the band "Smashing Pumpkins," about his involvement with the new "Resistance Pro" wrestling company.

Corgan revealed during the interview, which was conducted by ESPN, that he is actually a jock at heart. "The funny thing about me that most people never really understand is that, at heart, I'm really a jock."

Additionally, Corgan spoke about the potential of teaming up with former WWE Superstar, who is also the co-founder of the Sports Legacy Institute, Chris Nowinski. "I said to Chris, 'What if we become the first wrestling company to work with SLI to make concussion safety part of our protocol?'"

Corgan further elaborated stating, "Alongside the talk is real action, as Resistance Pro has its athletes undergo regular concussion screening. Injuries are nothing to be ashamed about. They happen, but you have to support the talent and not just look the other way."
