After starting things out with a recap of last week, we get an update on Hulk Hogan's condition, then James Storm heads to the ring. He says Austin Aries is the new champion so he should congratulate him, and he's still in first place so he's on the fast track to Bound For Glory. Storm says he didn't forget about Bobby Roode, and he has a personal issue with him so he is just going to kick his ass. He also mentions Aces and Eights, and he says this isn't the Old West because he'd be in charge if it was. Storm wishes Hulk Hogan well, then he says he wants to fight the "measuring stick" of the company, then he says there's no one better than Kurt Angle. Storm waits while Kurt's music plays but he doesn't make it out, then the music replays again but Kurt is still nowhere to been seen. Storm tells someone to go get him, then a camera heads backstage and they find Kurt being attacked by Aces and Eights.

Samoa Joe heads to the ring and says since he knows no one would dare call him out, he decided to come down here and pick his own fight. He says he is picking a guy who he has always had a problem with, then he tells Pope D'Angelo Dinero to get his ass down there.

Bound For Glory Series
Samoa Joe vs
"The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero

Joe shoves Pope in the corner and grounds him with repetitive punches, then he hits a forearm shot and follows with an enziguiri. Joe keeps punching him but Pope catches him with a right hand, then he attacks Joe in the corner and counters a waistlock attempt. Pope follows Joe outside and kicks him in the stomach, then he rolls him in and knees him in the midsection a few times. He gets a near fall before putting him in a scissored armbar, then they trade a few shots and Pope drives his elbow into the side of Joe's head. Joe catches one of Pope's strikes and counters into an elevated Cross Armbreaker, and he gets Pope to immediately tap out.

Winner – Samoa Joe
