Sam Shaw comes back out for the Gut Check vote, and he says he came up short but he has the drive and determination to make it. Al Snow says he didn't really get to see him because of some asshole, and he really wants to vote yes to piss Joey Ryan off, but he can't. Bruce says Shaw has gone through a tough two weeks and he made it through, so he is saying yes and they give Shaw one more chance on the mic. Shaw says Taz called himself the Bush League Shooter, and he sees that in himself so he wants Taz to say yes so he can work with the best. Taz says he knows why Shaw lost the match, but he has to say yes, and Shaw explodes with excitement and thanks everyone.
Austin Aries is with the three remaining title contenders, and he goes over their nationalities before telling them to sell him in two sentences. Sonjay says he separated his shoulder and still came close, then Kenny King says he is like Emmitt Smith and he wants to run with it. Dakota Darsow says he brings something different and he's not flaashy, but Aries says the X Division is about flash and style so he is eliminated. Aries tells him to say hello to his father for him, then Dakota leaves as Aries tells King and Sonjay they have one more cut to get through. Aries says he checked with the doctors and Sonjay's shoulder is not well, and he says he'll get another shot but it's Kenny's turn tonight.

Kenny King vs Zema Ion (c)
King ties up with Zema and sends him into the corner, but the ref calls for a break and Zema calls time out to spray his hair. King comes back with snap kicks, then he dives over the ropes and snaps Zema's head on the top rope. He keeps it going with a suplex and a back elbow, then he kicks Zema in the head and goes up top. Zema shvoes him outside and hits a front flip dive, then he goes up top and hits a missile dropkick. Zema chokes him on the ropes then jumps knees first into King's back and follows with with a chicken wing variation submission. He whips King across the ring and waits for him to get up, then he chops him in the corner and taunts him some more. (Cont'd…)
