Orton rolls outside and Tensai brings him back in, but Orton punches him on the apron and throws him into the barricade as we go to a break. We return to see Tensai hit a slingshot bomb for a near fall, then he punches him in the back of the head until the ref backs him away.

Tensai calls for Orton to get up, then he punches him in the side of the head before applying a nerve claw hold. Orton gets up and elbows him, then Tensai uses both of his hands for the hold but Orton breaks it with a few elbows. Orton hits some uppercuts and a spinning powerslam, then Tensai goes to the apron and Orton hits him a few times before hitting a hanging DDT for two. Tensai goes for a running back splash, but Orton rolls away then jumps up and hits a RKO for the win.

Vickie Guerrero comes out after the match and asks for Orton’s attention, and she says Dolph Ziggler didn’t appreciate what Orton said earlier. She says she advised Dolph to take the night off, but he will beat Orton this Sunday at Night of Champions. Vickie says Orton will never be a world champion again, but Orton says she is dead wrong. Orton says if she’s up there talking that must mean one thing, then he turns around and gets in position for a RKO. Dolph jumps up as he does it but immediately ducks and runs away, and Orton celebrates after successfully avoiding the sneak attack.
