12/6 Impact Wrestling Results – Roode Invests in Aces & Eights, Title Changes Hands & More!

Bully Ray makes his way to the ring. He sets up a chair in the middle of the ring and says he isn't going anywhere until he gets his way, and what he wants. He says he doesn't understand why Hulk won't let him fight Austin Aries, when all the people in the Impact Zone want to see the match. Out comes Austin Aries who brings a steel chair of his own. He sits down on the entrance ramp and says it's his turn to take over the show. Hulk Hogan's music hits and Aries freaks the hell out and moves his chair to the other side of the ring.

Hogan says that for thirty years he's been nothing but business in the ring, and he's not going to let Aries or Bully push him around. Hogan tells Bully to get out of his ring, or he'll fire him or kick his ass. Bully gets in Hulkster's face but Brooke Hogan makes her way out for the save. She comes in between both of them and tells Hogan to stop. She accidentally calls Bully "Mark" (his real name) and Hogan isn't too happy about it. Hogan makes the match happen, because they've made the whole thing personal.

Commercial Break

We come back from the break and the announce team runs down the Final Resolution PPV card. We get a video package for Bobby Roode winning back his title on Sunday, and it's time for our main event of the evening!

(5) Roode, Daniels & Kazarian vs. Hardy, Styles & Storm

Kaz and Daniels make their way out, wearing the most ridiculous pink zubas and fanny packs. Throwback to the 80's, I guess…? Jeff Hardy's team makes their way out next, and the World Champion has both titles with him.

Storm and Kazarian start things off. Kaz takes a big slap to the face and Storm knocks both the heels off the apron before landing a big Thesz press and going to town with rights and lefts. The Cowboy is crazy and tags in the World Champion. Hardy tries to lock up with Kazarian, but he gets back into the wrong corner and Daniels tags himself in. Hardy takes him down with a headscissors and knocks the heels off the apron yet again. Styles in now, and Daniels bails from the ring, tagging in Kaz.

AJ rocks Kazarian with right hands and chops in the corner. He gets the tag to Jeff Hardy and they do the Poetry in Motion combo as we head to our final commercial break of the night.

Commercial Break

As we come back, Bobby Roode is in total control of Jeff Hardy, and tags in Chris Daniels. He lands several knee thrusts to the champions mid-section and gets a quick tag to Kazarian. The heels keep up the pressure with quick tags, and the third man working over Hardy from the floor to the apron. Roode back in now, and he takes Hardy to the outside and bounces him off the ring and the steel steps before rolling things back inside. Daniels makes the tag and throws Hardy face-first into Roode boot, and yet again makes the quick tack back to the former World Champion.

Roode comes off the top rope but Hardy catches him with an atomic drop, and lands the Twist of Fate! Hardy gets the hot tag to AJ Styles who takes it to Kazarian and Daniels with a flurry of kicks. Storm hits Closing Time on Daniels and clotheslines him to the floor. Roode and Kaz work over AJ in the ring and Irish whip him into the corner. AJ dodges a splash and does his flip-over reverse DDT on Roode, and catches Kaz at the same time with a DDT as well. Daniels is back in now, but Storm follows up and takes him out again. AJ and Storm fight over who is the legal man, so Hardy tags himself in, hits the Twist of Fate for the victory.

Winners: Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles & James Storm

After the match the Aces & Eights hit the ring and destroy Jeff Hardy. The good guys (Angle, Brisco, etc.) make the save and the Eights retreat once again. Bobby Roode is shown smiling on the entrance ramp. The Eights give a group thumbs up and Roode responds in kind. He yells "it pays to be Roode!" as Impact Wrestling goes off the air.
