TNA Final Resolution PPV Results (12/9): Styles/Daniels Steal the Show, the Aces & Eights Attack & More!

(5) Knockouts Championship Match
Tara (c) vs. Mickie James

Mickie James is wearing overalls to a wrestling match. The Impact Zone does their best British impression, chanting “who are you?” at Jesse. Tara and Mickie lock up in the middle of the ring with Tara getting ahold of the arm and wrenching it. Mickie floats over a wrist lock and gets an armdrag. Tara tries for another wrist lock, and takes Mickie to the mat, but she kips up and gets another armdrag.

After a distraction from Jesse, Tara gets the challenger in the corner and chokes her with her boot. Mickie powers out with a hurricanrana, and Jesse pulls Tara from the ring. Mickie kicks Jesse away and throws Tara back into the ring, but the distraction is enough from the Champion to take advantage. Jesse rips his shift off, and between his pecs and Tara’s wrestling gear, there are WAY too many distractions in this match…

Mickie gets a great roll-up, but Taryn is still dealing with a Jesse and missing it. Tara lands the Spiderweb slam and locks in a body scissors in the middle of the ring. Mickie shows some athleticism and kicks Tara in the head, knocking her backwards. The two then trade blows in the middle of the ring, and the challenger gets the better of the exchange. Clotheslines connects and the crowd is fired up! Mickie connects with a mule kick and plants her with an ensiguri. James throws Tara to the outside, but Jesse actually catches her.

Mickie James off the top rope to the outside with a Thesz press on both of them! She rolls the Champion back in the ring, but Jesse gets on the apron. He eats a big side kick, but Tara takes advantage of yet another distraction and hits the Widow’s Peak for the 3-count.

Winner and still Champion: Tara

Backstage JB is with Bobby Roode, and asks him what kind of relationship he has with the Aces & Eights. He calls that a stupid question and instead talks about winning back his World Title. He says that he made an investment and that it pays to be Roode. He closes the segment saying money talks, and bullshit walks.

A video package airs for the Aces & Eights drama, and Kurt Angle stepping up to take them on tonight.
