AJ Styles Talks About Not Toning Down Moveset, Writing A Book In UK Interview

AJ StylesAJ Styles recently talked to the UK Sun newspaper about why he won't tone down his moveset in the ring, the prospects of writing a book, and more. You can read a few excerpts from the article below:

On using certain high risk moves and planning out a spot in a match:
“You know I feel you pick your time and place to do crazier stuff and I do that. I pick my spots and use them wisely. I’ll not tone it down until I stop wrestling. The most brutal match I’ve had where I picked my spots was the Last Man Standing bout with Daniels, we took some hard bumps there and you really felt the difference between being in the ring and out of it. But we wanted to make the match stand out and we did just that.”

On writing a book despite his "boring" personality:
“I do have a book in progress. It is early days so far. What I hope to do is tell the story of my early life and bring it right up to my wrestling career. I will include some behind the scenes stuff and whilst my faith will be included, there will be wrestling stuff there for the fans too. I personally think I am rather boring, but there is interest and I think the fans deserve to know how I got into the business and how I have felt about certain situations."
