After the match, the announcers recap the opening segment with Ryback challenging Cena to an Ambulance Match, then they hype the Curtis Axel vs Triple H match set for later tonight. We then head to commercial break.
Back from break, Triple H's music hits and he makes his way to ringside for his match against Curtis Axel. The announcers put over how damaged Triple H is from his Extreme Rules match as Curtis Axel's music hits and he makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman.
Curtis Axel vs Triple H
Axel starts the match showboating, and Triple H capitalizes with a right hand to Axel. HHH tosses Axel out of the ring and goes after Heyman on the outside, but Axel rolls back into the ring and attack HHH when he gets back in. HHH reverses the attack and unloads on Axel in the corner, but Axel reverses an Irish Whip into a drop kick. The announcers remind the audience that HHH's jaw is in bad shape.
Axel Whips HHH into the corner and hits an elbow followed by mounted forearms to the face. HHH kicks out after 2. Axel locks a rear naked choke into HHH and Heyman is cheering along from outside. HHH makes his way to his feet and hits shoulder smashes into Axel's gut in the corner. HHH reverses an Irish Whip into a Facebuster, then nails a big spine buster of another Whip. HHH knocks Axel out of the ring, but seems to be favoring his leg and JBL says something appears to be wrong with HHH. HHH makes his way outside but Axel knocks him down. Triple H returns fire and rolls Axel back into the ring, but the announcers are putting over that something appears wrong with HHH and he has to stop as he is disoriented. HHH sits in a chair at ringside while a ring doctor checks him out, but HHH waves him off and tries to get back into the ring, only to have to return to the chair as he is very disoriented. After evaluating HHH, the doctor deems him unable to continue and the match is stopped by the referee. Raw ends with HHH trying to get up and walk, but he continually collapses and is being assisted by WWE medical officials.
