Rob Van Dam vs Chris Jericho
RVD plays to the fans and Jericho kicks him, then he chops him in the corner and sends him into the ropes, but RVD leapfrogs him and tries to kick him. Jericho slows him with some punches, then he whips him again but RVD hits a roundhouse kick, then he monkey flips him out of the corner and hits a standing moonsault for two. Jericho sends RVD into the corner and hits a side suplex, then he dropkicks the back of his head as we go to a commercial break. We get back to see Jericho fight out of a grounded bodyscissors, then he goes for Walls of Jericho but RVD blocks it, so Jericho slingshots him into the turnbuckles.
Jericho slingshots RVD throat first into the bottom rope, then he dropkicks RVD under the ropes and sets up a suplex on the apron. RVD blocks it and tries to reverse it, then Jericho lifts him up but RVD floats over and kicks him in the face, getting a two count near fall as a result. RVD puts him in a grounded bodyscissors but Jericho rolls over and tries to pin him, then RVD kicks out so Jericho deadlifts him and powerbombs him. Jericho gets another near fall before he chops him a few times, then he sends him into the ropes but RVD avoids a dropkick and goes for Rolling Thunder. Jericho rolls outside so RVD leaps to the apron, then he connects with a moonsault to the floor as we go to a break.
We get back to see RVD hit some shoulder blocks, then Jericho comes back with a few before RVD throws him out to the apron. Jericho lands on the apron and runs up the turnbuckles, and he hits an axehnadle smash before setting up a Lionsault, but RVD rolls away and hits Rolling Thunder. Jericho reverses an Irish whip and ducks a side kick, then he connects with a DDT for two before he calls for RVD to get up. He sets up Walls of Jericho but RVD kicks him away, then Jericho goes for a bulldog but RVD throws him in the corner and attempts a split-legged moonsault.
