WWE Shows footage last week of John Cena discussing his surgery and missing 4-6 months. They show pictures of his surgery and we head to a break.
Ryback is interviewed by Josh Matthews backstage. Matthews talks about the bullying Ryback has done in the past few weeks. Ryback laughs at his bullying comment and stares at Matthews until he grabs his face. He says he finally found a way to shut him up and walks out.
Renee Young catches up with Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel. Paul is crying and Axel says what happened to Punk is something that he will never forget. Heyman says Punk is like a child who needs to continue to get punished and punished. Heyman says his prodigal son will learn that Paul Heyman is the last person he should come up against. Heyman and Axel get into a car and drives away.
Randy Orton vs. Christian
Christian rolls up Randy Orton to start the match. They grapple to the corner and Orton hits a shoulder block onto Christian. Orton follows up with a kick and a few headbutts before getting tripped into the ropes. Orton grabs Christians arm for a DDT but Christian dumps the champion to the outside. Christian soars with a baseball slide into Orton. He hits a few chops and sends Orton back into the ring. Christian hits a reverse DDT and heads to the top rope but gets caught with a dropkick. Orton slugs away at a beaten down Christian and begins to kick him from head to toe. Orton gets a two count and locks in a headlock to slow the pace. Christian fights out with elbows to the stomach. Orton reverses a DDT attempt and covers him again for two. Orton shoves Christian from the top rope to the outside as we head to a commercial break.
Back from the break, Orton has a headlock on Christian as they are on the mat. Christian hits a double kick to Orton and heads to the top once again. Orton stops him and hits headbutt on him. Orton continues the assault with an uppercut and a superplex off the top. Christian tries to steal a victory with a pinfall attempt and he kicks and slaps the champion. Christian connects with a crossbody from the top. He gets a two count and Orton kicks out. Both men get quick pinfall attempts to fasten the pace. Orton gets Christian hung up in the ropes and Christian reverses it into an attempted Killswitch. With a boot to the face, Christian hits a Tornado DDT on the second rope. With another near fall, Christian slaps Orton in the face but gets a DDT for the hit. Orton's RKO was countered by Christian and Christian hits a Spear. Christian gets thrown into the corner and tries a Killswitch, but the champion pokes a finger to Christian's eye. An RKO ends the match and the champion stands tall. Daniel Bryan appears on the big screen and says "bravo." He says if he beats Orton at Night of Champions, is he the new face of the WWE? The words "yes" are spray painted on his new car. The crowd chants "yes" with Bryan as the Cadillac is ruined and Orton is furious.
