WWE RAW Results (9/16) – HHH Vacates Title, Fires Ref, Locker Room Rallies For Bryan

Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler

Dolph hits a crossbody and some mounted punches, then he clotheslines Ambrose outside before rolling him in and puts him in a sleeperhold. Ambrose reverses it but Dolph hits a jawbreaker, then he stomps Ambrose in the corner and whips him, but Ambrose reverses it and sends Dolph outside. We get back from a break to see Ziggler fight out of a STF variation, then he hits the ropes but Ambrose throws him on the apron and sends him into the turnbuckles. Ambrose sets him up top and hits a double underhook superplex, then he applies a half nelson but Dolph breaks it with some headbutts. He hits the ropes but Ambrose knees him, then Ambrose jabs him a few times but Dolph jumps up and drops him with a DDT.Dolph hits a dropkick and some mounted punches, then he clotheslines Ambrose and connects with several rapid elbows for a near fall. Ambrose comes back with a spinebuster for a near fall, then he punches Dolph a few times before Dolph tries to steal it with a quick rollup. Ambrose slams Dolph back on the mat and tries to follow up, but Dolph rolls back and hits a Zig Zag for the win.

Winner – Dolph Ziggler

Fandango (w/ Summer Rae) vs R-Truth

Truth punches Fandango and hiptosses him, then he hits a legdrop for a near fall before he punches Fandango and whips him across the ring. Fandango reverses it and goes for a clothesline, but Truth sends him outside and rolls him in before Fandango catches him with some corner punches. Fandango whips him across the ring and puts him in a headlock, then Truth tries to break it so Fandango hits him in the back and whips him. Truth hits a side kick and a suplex for two, then he hits the ropes but Fandango avoids an axe kick before kicking Truth in the head and hitting a top rope legdrop for the win.

Winner – Fandango

Dusty Rhodes comes out and says he appreciates the applause, but he's not there as the American Dream, but he's Virgil Runnels and he needs them to hear this. Dusty says the McMahons has never seen hard times, but he's been there and he fought to pay his bills and take care of his family because of love. He says Cody lost his job because he was fighting, and Dusty says HHH thought Cody being fired was what was best for business. Dusty says Goldust came in and fought for the love of family, and he thinks fighting for his family is best, and HHH broke his heart in one night. Dusty says he won't ask for Cody's job back, but they should let him earn it back, so he wants Stephanie to come out and talk business with him. (Cont'd…)
