Bully throws him back and AJ ends up hitting the ref, then AJ rolls back and applies the Calf Killer but the ref is still down in the corner. AJ tries to revive him but Bully hits him with a chain, then Bully connects with a Bubba Cutter but AJ kicks out and Bully goes for the chain again. Ken Anderson runs out and Bully swings at him, but Anderson ducks and snaps his head on the ropes before AJ gets a crucifix rollup for the win.

Bully rolls outside and Anderson goes right after him, and they trade some punches before Anderson is pulled away. Dixie Carter appears on the big screen and says AJ wants attention, so she is coming to the ring and she wants to put this behind them. She says she has a great contract offer and this is real, then AJ says it's a great contract from a horrible person who uses her employees. AJ says she pads her bank account on their blood, sweat and tears, then he tears the contract up and says he isn't done yet.
AJ says making her pay wasn't about the money, because money can't fix her problem, and she doesn't respect the championship, him, or the people. AJ says this is his title and he is taking it from her, because he is leaving and the fans deserve a champion and he's taking it to them. Dixie says it's not his to take, but AJ takes the mic from her and says he's also taking the car she gave him and walks out. Dixie asks where he's going but AJ just high fives some fans on the way out, then he is shown walking backstage and leaves in the car, raising the title in the air.
