According to The Wrestling Observer, this year's TNA Bound for Glory attendance figures were 2,622 paid and a total of 3,000 fans in the arena, which means TNA did not paper the crowd too much. The company is viewing these figures as a positive considering the last time WWE ran a live event in San Diego it did 2,358 paid with 4,000 in the arena.

As for the PPV's buy rate, various cable sources are reporting the show being down about 15% from last year, which would put it at about 17,000 buys.

Vince Calls SSlam a "Swing & a Miss"

During today's conference call to discuss the third quarter financial results, Vince McMahon said he was not happy with this year's SummerSlam buy rate, and felt fans didn't "buy the attraction." He went on to say that for PPV, you need the right attraction, and SummerSlam was a "swing and a miss" for WWE.
