5/1 WWE NXT Results: Adrian Neville Defends Against Brodus Clay in No DQ Match, WWE Divas in Action, Tournament Kicks Off & More

NXT Women's Championship Tournament

Layla vs. Natalya

Layla into a side headlock early, followed by a neckbreaker for two. Natalya rolls up Layla with a sloppy pin for a one-count, but is caught in a surfboard stretch. Nattie breaks the hold and hits a brutal discus clothesline. After about three tries she locks in the Sharpshooter and picks up the submission victory.

Winner: Natalya

KILLAM: That was pretty bad. The rookie match between Bailey and Sasha Banks was much better. I'm not sure what the disconnect here was, as most of their moves were either sloppy, or just didn't connect at all. Natalya vs. Banks in the second round.

Mojo Rawley vs. Oliver Grey

Grey pounds away with clubbing blows to the back, but Mojo responds with big splashes to the corner. He hits the Rear View from across the ring, followed by Hyper Drive for the win in about 30 seconds.

Winner: Mojo Rawley

-Aiden English comes out and says that he's done suffering fools, and tells Mojo to get out of his ring and leave NXT to a real artist like him. Mojo plays to the crowd for some reason, so English attacks him from behind. English recovers and dumps him over the top rope, and Aiden crawls up the ramp to safety.
