7/31 WWE NXT Results: Adam Rose vs. Tyson Kidd, The Ascension in Action, Tyler Breeze Ready to Face Neville & More

 (4) Mojo Rawley & Bull Dempsey vs. The Mechanics

Bull tosses one of the Mechanics – I believe it was Dash – across the ring. They lock up again, and Bull tosses him into the corner, tagging in Mojo, who does the same thing. Dash out-maneuvers Mojo and tags in his partner, and the heels (heels?) work him over with quick tags. Mojo dodges a splash in the corner and tags in Bull, who hits one of them Mechanics with a side slam for the win.

Winners: Mojo Rawley & Bull Dempsey

-Bailey is backstage…being adorable. She talks about getting a shot at the Women’s Championship. Charlotte shows up and does her fake-nice routine, basically making Bailey feel terrible, and saying she has no chance at winning. Bailey needs a hug.

(5) Adam Rose vs. Tyson Kidd

Lots of the NXT Divas are Rosebuds tonight. Rose goes to the floor and gives Natalya his sucker, which she takes; Tyson is not happy about it. Kidd lets his opponent get in his head, and ends up getting thrown over the ropes as we go to commercial, with Natalya looking disappointed. After the break, Tyson is fired up, clotheslining Rose to the floor. He bashes his opponent’s head into the turnbuckle a few times, and stomps away at his face. They roll back in the ring and Kidd chokes him in the ropes, with Natalya getting increasingly frustrated. Rose gets like 5 seconds of offense, but Kidd hits him with a neckbreaker and sends him rolling to the outside. He ties him in the tree of woe, then starts pull his neck back towards the turnbuckle, brutally beating down on him with elbows and kicks. He slaps on a headlock and Rose starts building up momentum with the crowd. Rose gets in a few right hands and a shoulder tackle, followed by a lariat in the corner. Kidd kicks him the gut, but gets caught with a great spinebuster for a two-count. Adam Rose sets up for the Party Foul, but Kidd counters out and goes for the Sharpshooter; they both struggle and end up on the floor. Kidd with a striking knee off the apron, rolling Rose back inside. Natalya starts yelling at him about something, Tyson gets distracted, and Rose rolls him up for a quick three-count.

Winner: Adam Rose

KILLAM: The title program is going pretty well, and I’m glad Tyler is finally done have a finger injury. I can only pretend to care about a feud that isn’t really a feud for so long. Charlotte is better than probably any Diva on the main roster or in NXT, but I am confused at why she spends so much timing working the legs, when she doesn’t have a signature or a finishing move that capitalizes on it. I get that Ric Flair had the Figure Four, but Charlotte doesn’t, and her finisher is basically a neckbreaker; just seems inefficient. The main event match was fine, but WWE has done little to make me care about Adam Rose following his debut several months ago. The whole Natalya-Tyson thing is getting stale. I’d say they need to move on it, but the last thing I want to see is some B.S. divorce angle that ends up playing out on Total Divas.
