WWE RAW Results (8/4) – Reigns/Kane Last Man Standing, Beat The Clock Challenge, Stephanie/Brie Contract Signing!

Triple H and Stephanie are discussing her contract signing tonight, when Kane walks in and just takes off his mask and hands it to her, walking away silently.

Chris Jericho vs Luke Harper

Harper catches Jericho with an uppercut and a big boot, then he powerbombs him for two before he whips him into the ropes. Jericho ducks and knocks him down, then he puts him in the Walls of Jericho but the lights go out. Bray appears and tries to distract Jericho, but he hits Rowan and Harper with a Codebreaker. Bray finally runs in and hits Jericho from behind and causes a disqualification, then he taunts the crowd and hits Sister Abigail before leaving.

Winner (by disqualification) – Chris Jericho

Diego (w/ El Torito, Layla & Summer Rae) vs Fandango (w/ Hornswoggle)

Diego dropkicks Fandango and Hornswoggle dances on the apron, then Diego whips Fandango into Hornswoggle before hitting a DDT for the win. Layla and Summer check on Hornswoggle and invite him to dance, then Torito says it’s fine and they all dance around. Fandango gets pissed and hits Hornswoggle, but Diego and Torito beat him up, and they all dance away together.

Winner – Diego

BP: The matchup between Diego and Fandango is getting redundant, but I thought adding Hornswoggle was funny. Torito making amends with Hornswoggle was a nice touch, and showed they do sometimes pay attention to continuity.

Randy Orton joins Renee Young for his thoughts on tonight’s match between Kane and Roman Reigns, but Orton says he doesn’t care and has his own footage. Orton plays a clip of what he did last week, then he says he is a dangerous person, and he hopes Reigns’ head is on a swivel because he might kick it off.
