WWE RAW Results (10/20) – Rusev Crosses The Line, Title Implications For HIAC, Cena/Ambrose vs Authority!

John Cena cuts him off and says Orton just needs to shut up, and they all know Orton is gifted, but he just proves he’s a dumbass every time he opens his mouth. Cena mocks him talking about history, and says Orton is stupid for coming to a town with a team in the World Series and trying to insult them. Orton says getting to the World Series and winning it are two different things, and Cena says it’s just like Orton being in a match on Sunday, but he’s not winning it. Cena says Seth Rollins took a title from him, but now he gets a chance to take it back, and he’ll go to hell and take Orton with him.

Paul Heyman cuts them both off and says this is all laughable, and the class of 2002 featured Orton and Cena, and his client, “The Next Big Thing” Brock Lesnar. He says if you think about it, it’s no surprise that Brock was champion back then and right now, and they will enter the Hell In A Cell structure, hoping to win. Heyman says they could define a legacy against each other, but Brock has no equal, so the winner of this match is really a loser. Heyman says they lose because they have to fight a beast, and he respects Orton but he is telling him he wants no part of his client.

Cena goes to leave but Heyman tells him to stay put, and he says Cena wants the title and the beast, but Heyman tells him it’s not going to happen. He says if Cena gets past Orton, which isn’t likely, but if he does, he will just get fed to the beast, Brock Lesnar. Cena gets pissed and lifts him for an Attitude Adjustment, but he stops and puts Heyman down, before Orton turns and drops him with a RKO. Heyman taunts Cena laying on the mat, but Orton turns and drops him with a RKO too, then taunts the crowd and leaves.

BP: WOW that was a hell of a promo. Orton was fantastic to start, but Cena came out and made his case, then Heyman just knocked it out of the part. I love that they are making Orton a serious threat to Lesnar, whether he beats Cena or not. Cena also has a strong case for being in the match, but this promo really just sold three different matches at once. Awesome.
