Wrestle Kingdom 9 Results:

Jim Ross kicksoff the show, and welcomes everyone to what he calls the WrestleMania of New Japan, Wrestle Kingdom 9.

Matt Striker is introduced and he thanks everyone for joining in to watch the show, and The Young Bucks are then introduced.

IWGP Jr. Tag Team Championship Match
reDRagon (c) vs. Young Bucks vs. Forever Hooligans vs. Time Splitters

A lot of quick action to open the show, with every team trying for signatures and mass chaos well before the referee can get things under control. They do the obligatory “everyone to the floor” spot over the ropes, which ends with Kushida taking everyone down.

The rest of the match was basically one tag team running through everyone else, hitting their signatures, and the next team coming in to break it up and take control. The Bucks had a lot of offense with a ton of impressive double team moves. They were set up by four guys for simultaneous Doomsday Devices, but both landed on their feet and superkicked everyone. They hit the Meltzer Driver but the ref was too busy dealing with the chaos of other teams. It ended with the champs hitting Chasing the Dragon on Rocky Romero for the 1-2-3.

Winners: reDRagon
