Network in UK… for 9.99

The WWE Network will be launching in the UK and Ireland on Monday, January 19th. The price of the Network will be 9.99 pounds and 12.99 Euros in Ireland, which means that despite waiting almost one year more than the U.S. and missing out on the November free trial, fans in the UK will have to pay more for the streaming service, just so WWE can keep it’s widely promoted “nine-ninety-nine” pricetag. 

Injury Strikes The Viper

Randy Orton wrestling news“The Viper” Randy Orton has been pulled from all WWE live events leading up to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view later this month. Orton has yet to make his official return to television, after he took time off in November to begin shooting a WWE Studios project. The most recent reports state that he was injured during a holiday live event in late December, and recently underwent minor surgery

Hall of Famer Hospitalized

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler was hospitalized last week with a case of diverticulitis. There isn’t a lot of information on how the King is doing, but he will be replaced on the Monday Night Raw commentary booth this week with Booker T.
