True Long Island Injury Update
Zack Ryder posted the following on Twitter this afternoon:
Got in the ring for the first time in two months today at the @WWEPerformCtr. #ReturnOfTheZack

Ryder noted in November that he had torn his rotator cuff. After originally believing he would require surgery, he was given a stem cell injection from the bone barrow in his hip. The original time frame was 6-8 weeks out of action, followed by rehab on the shoulder. Almost exactly 6 weeks later, Ryder posted on Twitter that he had started rehab for the injury.

Perhaps proving how ineffective the “firing” angle is in pro wrestling, while a few of the talents were legitimate written off television, the majority of names on the list came back to the company, many within a few weeks of the original incident taking place.
