THE GOOD

Iain Luke Jones – Wales, UK

“I went to see San Andreas last night here in the UK. I found the film engrossing from start to finish. I think it was one of the Rocks most solid performances yet, and in general all of the main cast played their characters in a really believe able way. I thought the effects were amazingly realistic and both my brother and I agreed that we had not seen a disaster movie this good for a long, long time. There were a few things that showed a little attention to detail that we really liked such as when [redacted] was drowning instead of just sinking, [their] body actually convulsed like it would do in that situation, I’ve never seen that happen on screen before. Just an epic, action packed thrill ride.”

Dave Iwanowicz – Clifton Park, NY

“Hey Mike, saw the first showing today and loved the movie! Typical storyline… Rock is on the outs with his wife but wins her back by being the fan favorite that he is by saving his daughter from this terrible earthquake. Special effects were great and the acting was superb by all around. Had me hooked and the guy next to me on the edge of his seat. Mark my words this movie will be a blockbuster this summer and will rake in all kinds of money this summer. Wwe take notice the rock will be the leading man for many action movies for years to come. so forget my wrestlemania dream match with the rock vs earthquake at 32, guess I will have to settle with the rock taking on more roles because this was intense! 3 out of 4 stars.

P.S. Your wife or girlfriend will love it too! Tears we’re coming down her face.. Aww”

Lee – Denmark

“I saw San Andreas the other day and It’s pretty damn good. The movie is all-action from the start, ’till it ends, but it never gets repetitiv or boring. Sure, The Rock plays the typical gung-ho guy, who saves the day (that’s not a spoiler, that’s just obvious), nothing new there, and the supporting cast are basic, common charachters, who play their part well, but seen before a 1000 times. But who goes to see a movie like San Andreas for the storyline alone, this movie is more of a HOW they get from Point A to Point B, and right there, you have full on action and value for money. The visual effects are fantastic BUT the audio deserves as much praise here, as u literally feel like you’re in the middle of it all!! I loved it!!”

“I just watched San Andreas, and if the events portrayed in the movie ever come to fruition, let’s just say I’m glad I live in the middle of Canada. It’s almost non-stop disaster caused by the earthquakes and subsequent tsunami, but there are enough breaks in between, including a pretty funny line from Dwayne Johnson somewhere toward the end of the movie. Speaking of The Rock, I felt that, while his character was pretty stereotypical of the roles he’s had over the years, he manages to add a little emotional depth (I’m not sure how to explain it without spoilers). I really liked Paul Giamatti’s character as well. Overall I give this movie a 7 out of 10 and would recommend people go see it.”

Danny L.

“Just saw San Andreas! It was action packed! The 3d was almost non existent, but overall the movie was great! The theater I saw it in was extremely loud and shook or seats which made all the action sequences even better. I recommend this movie to all rock and non rock fans. I know people will hate me for this next comment but I liked it better than Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
