As noted, Ring of Honor will be running two shows in Philadelphia, PA and Brooklyn, NY that will feature talent from New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Kazuchika Okada, Shinsuke Nakamura and Kushida from New Japan has since been announced, and they will be appearing on 8/21 in Philadelphia and 8/22 at MCU Field in Brooklyn. These dates come less than a week after the conclusion of the G-1 Climax tournament, considered to be a very grueling event in pro wrestling, which ends on 8/16.

Former TNA Announcer Working With GFW?

Don West will be working with Global Force Wrestling, according to Jeff Jarrett. It had previously been teased by Jarrett after he posted a photo of the two together; West was helping with GFW merchandise sales this past week on the Grand Slam Tour shows.

Jarrett originally posted the photo of West and teased he’d work with GFW “in some capacity”; sales or merchandise was rumored since he was considered to be an asset in TNA before departing.

West was with TNA since its inception in 2002 as an announcer, then towards the end of his run with the company was working as its Sales Manager. West left TNA in 2012 after accepting a position as the director of sales and marketing for Wenatchee, Washington’s Wenatchee Wild ice hockey team.
