WWE’s Poor TV Ratings Week Continues as Smackdown Draws Near Record Low Audience Numbers

smackdownAccording to ShowBuzzDaily.com, WWE’s post-SummerSlam week of poor TV ratings continues, as last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown drew the show’s third lowest non-holiday audience for a first-run episode since SmackDown moved to Syfy in 2010.

This week’s show averaged 2.195 million viewers, which is down 11% from last week’s 2.434 million viewership average. This week’s show featured the return of The Dudley Boyz, who had not wrestled in a WWE ring in over a decade.

As noted, this week’s edition of WWE Raw, which featured the fallout from SummerSlam, also dropped in viewership from last week’s show.
