WWE stars Rusev and Lana are this week’s guests for Michael Cole’s sit down interview, and below are some highlights:
On the Raw mention of Dolph Ziggler and Lana “going all the way”, Lana says she has always been a good girl and always told the truth. She said her father was a Russian minister, and always told her to save herself for marriage so that is what she has done and always will do.
Cole then asks Rusev about his claim that he did not go all the way with Summer Rae, and Rusev assures Cole he was telling the truth. Cole then says he did some investigative digging and spoke to a source, which was Summer Rae, and Rae says Rusev was lying. She added her and Rusev went all the way on more than one occasion.
Rusev then said if hypothetically it’s true that him and Summer went all the way, Rusev asks whether or not Cole really wants to call him a liar in front of Lana. Cole said he didn’t use the word “liar”, and Rusev said he took Summer Rae’s side so he’s calling Rusev a liar. Cole said he will take Rusev’s word for it and move on.
Lana then talked about how she met Rusev, and how they have been best friends for a long time. She added she has always had so much love for Rusev, and it was devastating for her when they fought.
Rusev then talks about the upcoming wedding between him and Lana, and says American weddings don’t mean anything. He then talks about what kind of wedding the two of them will have, and the meaning behind it. Rusev adds there will be two weddings, one in Russia and one in Bulgaria. He said it will not be televised, and will not be on the WWE Network. Rusev the WWE Universe is not invited as it’s a private affair for the two of them.
