On what his pro wrestling ambitions are in 2016:

PL: I’ll be honest with you. There was a time in 2015 when I thought, “You know what? 2016 is going to be it. That’s when I’ll retire from this career and say, ‘thank you’ and ‘adios.'” BUT… that mentality has changed. I will not be stepping away this year.

On whether he is fielding offers from any of the major pro wrestling companies like other free agents in his position:

PL: As far as some of the heavy hitters that are on the market right now. People talk about free agents and this and that. What’s to say I’m not already in a relationship? I don’t want to… I don’t know. I could be very single. Hell, I do most things alone. I’m used to it. I’m very comfortable in my own skin. What’s to say I feel I need a platform to speak from? Who knows? That’s what’s enjoyable about getting to see things simmer and then boil and then maybe not simmer at all. The process is there. All I can say really is, “Keep your eyes peeled.” If there’s something that appears to be a very fresh product on television with a lot of high production value and good, interesting storylines. That mixes cultural aspects of Mexican wrestling, Japanese wrestling, American wrestling all on a unique television channel that’s very genre driven. A very genre driven channel. I would think that company would probably be where headed towards. I can tell you it won’t be TNA and it won’t be anywhere I’ve been.
