Female Fan Pulls Gun On Wrestler In Georgia During Match

NBC3 Eye Witness News in Chattanooga, TN is reporting that a 59 year old female fan named Patricia Anne Crowe was arrested this past Saturday night for aggravated assault and reckless conduct. Clarke pulled a loaded gun on independent wrestler Paul Lee and his manager at an AWF event in Ringgold, GA.

You can listen to Lee tell the entire story in the news report found in embedded video player at the top of this page.

Lee explains that he had tied up his opponent in the ropes and was hitting him with a steel chair. Clarke then approached the ring with a knife and attempted to cut the wrestler free. Lee then told the woman, who he claims was missing teeth, to, “Sit her toothless self down.” Clarke did not appreciate the comments that Lee made about her appearance and pulled a loaded 38-calibur handgun on him and his manager. Lee quickly took the gun from the woman and subdued her while waiting for police to show up.

The news report notes that there were around 150 people in attendance for the show including some children. Going forward all fans attending AWF events will have to go through metal detectors before entering to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

Crowe was released from Catoosa County Jail on Monday after posting a $4,000 bond. Lee told The Cartoosa County News, “The sheriff’s office called me to let me know they let her out Monday on a $4,000 bond. I think it should have been a higher bond than that. She pulled a gun on me in front of kids and everything….it was just crazy.”

Crowe is now banned from ever attending AWF wrestling events.
