WWE Cruiserweight Classic talent Lince Dorado worked a TNA dark match at last night’s TV tapings, but wrestled under a different mask and used the ring name Balam. Dorado worked an Xplosion match against Mandrews, and also participated in an angle with Rockstar Spud taped for Impact Wrestling, according to TNAsylum.net.

In related news, former TNA X-Division Champion Amazing Red was originally scheduled to compete in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic, but according to PWInsider.com he recently suffered a broken ankle and will not be healthy enough in time for the first CWC taping on June 23rd.

WWE Bringing Back Veteran Names for Brand Split?

PWInsider is also reporting that WWE has reached out to several former WWE stars regarding a return to the company for the upcoming brand split. As noted, the NXT roster is expected to be “raided” for the upcoming WWE roster split, and it appears WWE is also looking to bring back some veteran names to help fill out the rosters as well.
