BBC Radio 1 Dives Into The Crazy World of WWE with “Superstar Wrestlers”

“We’re a crazy carnival crew that travels around the world” says Roman Reigns. Stephanie McMahon told BBC Radio 1 that “WWE is the ultimate match up of everything that’s great in entertainment, we ultimately know who’s going to win, but if we’re doing our job’s right, you will be on the edge of your seat”. Greg and his crew got the opportunity go behind the scenes at a recent WWE Live Event in Albany to talk to Enzo & Big Cass. Enzo who was recently coming off a concussion he suffered at the WWE Payback PPV in Chicago, was preparing for his impact test. Enzo talks about the risks that comes with being a in-ring performer in the WWE and how there’s a select few people around the world that can do what WWE Superstars do.

BBC Radio 1 Dives Into The Crazy World of WWE with “Superstar Wrestlers”

The documentary starts inside the BBC 1 Radio Studio where Greg James is getting berated by Chris Jericho who’s wearing quite a marvelous scarf by the way. I do have to say that the B-Roll clips in this documentary are phenomenal, pardon the AJ Styles pun. What blew me away with this special was how BBC really highlighted the passion and dedication these performers have for the business. There’s a lot of people who rip professional wrestlers for having massive egos and etc, but when you see the interviews Greg conducted with guys like Sami Zayn, Enzo & Big Cass or even Baron Corbin, you have a new found respect for these guys not only as performers, but also as human beings. Greg and his crew also tagged along the recent WWE NXT Tour of the UK in which they were a part of the infamous Download Festival.
